• Welcome to the website of Christine Brown Photography where we specialize in team sports and outdoor portrait photography.

Because Mother Nature is a partner in my creative process, I run a limited portrait schedule consisting primarily of spring and fall portrait sessions. (Sports team photo sessions are scheduled both indoor and outdoor throughout the year.) Limiting the number of sessions I accept helps me to focus my creativity on capturing the essence of each and every subject. I love unusual settings and am very careful not to duplicate the same scenes/poses over and over. That being said, there are some beautiful locations in the area that beg to be portrait backdrops and should not be overlooked despite their popularity with many photographers from around the area.

My photo career started as a hobby. I was forever taking photographs of my children during their activities; which then blossomed into taking photos of my children's friends during their activities. Then, thanks to the encouragement of many friends and family along the way, I began taking photos of friends and acquaintances here and there, giving birth to Christine Brown Photography. The image in the upper left corner really launched my career and is from one of my very first photo shoots. I am still moved every time I look at it. I absolutely love working with people and I like to think of each image as a "snapshot" in time. I love what I do! But what I especially love is.....

• taking pictures of kids in their club/sports uniforms, smiling.... full of hope for a promising season... and ready to make their friends and family proud.
• capturing that special spark of a High School Senior, anxious to embark on a new world after having left a mark on their old one.

• working with families to create that special moment that will be remembered for years.

The down side to to what I do is having a limited shoot schedule. Because of the time constraints associated with responsibilities to my family, primary employment and grad school, I must limit the number of bookings I can accept. This way I can ensure that each and every photo shoot receives the attention it deserves, and allows me to provide each client with the kind of product they have come to expect from Christine Brown Photography.

General Information:
Session Fee $75.00 for up to 90 minutes, including travel time. (Additional session time [over 90 minutes]
available/billed in 15 minute increments at $15.00 per quarter hour.)
Travel beyond 10 miles (RT) from Dwight will incur additional mileage charges.
Proof viewing available on-line (included) or spiral proof book (requires additional deposit).
Several print package and specialty item options available.
